Home to Chianti, Mugello and the Arno Valley among others, the countryside near Florence offers countless options for enjoying the rural lifestyle – with several agriturismo found within easy reach of the Renaissance city.

One of the most popular destinations in Italy, beautiful Florence certainly needs no introduction. But the cradle of the Renaissance era can also be discovered in combination with enjoying the nature and country lifestyle of the surrounding hills. Villa Guarnaschelli

This 17th-century noble villa is conveniently located 10km from Florence, also near the core of the Chianti region. It is surrounded by a floral park and a vast olive grove, from which honey and extra-virgin olive oil are made. An original 18th-century olive press can be found in one of the farm’s communal areas, while the terrace, swimming pool and loggia of the manor tower offer panoramic viewing spots.
