The birthplace of paella it may be, but Valencia has plenty more strings to its bow than culinary heritage. Indeed, ever since Valencian architect Javier Goerlich Lleó transformed the look of the city in the first half of the 20th century, Valencia has been hailed for its forward-thinking approach to urban life. And one area where it has remained at the vanguard is the growing trend of coworking. We’ve picked out five of Valencia’s best coworking venues.

Vortex

Spread across some of the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods, Vortex’s three Valencia coworking spaces provide solutions for companies, teams, freelancers or professionals working remotely. Facilities range from private offices to dedicated desks and hot desks, with flexible membership packages available, as well as day passes. All members gain access to meeting rooms, training and events spaces, offsite experiences, phone booths and lounge areas. Pricing is the same at all venues and starts at €95 per month for 5 days a month hot desking access, rising to €240 per month for unlimited 24/7 use of a fixed desk. Day passes are priced at €24.

Members are given all that they need to work professionally and productively, including 24/7 access and workstations equipped with spacious tables, super-fast WiFi and plenty of natural light.  There are also meeting rooms, soundproof phone booths, a dining room and kitchen, and unlimited coffee and water. Wayco

With three coworking spaces scattered throughout affluent Valencia neighbourhoods, Wayco have a large presence across the city. Each of the three spaces is distinct in character – one is housed in a historic former thread factory; another features a bright inner patio; and a third boasts two large terraces – but all share the same quality of providing coworkers with the ideal setting, tools and atmosphere to thrive both professionally and personally, whether it’s in a private office, a shared work area, or a fixed desk. Rates start at €95 per month for 5 days a month hotdesking access and rise to €240 per month for unlimited use of a fixed desk. All of the venues also host frequent events, cultural activities, training programs and member-only networking sessions.
