The earth speaks at Rotorua. With geothermal activity and indigenous Maori culture the main highlights of the region, tourism is understandably very popular. The result is a high number of hotels and, at times, overwhelming choice.
Bubbling up to the surface are these five hotels however, which seem to provide the best option for travellers over a number of factors such as price, location, facilities on site and comfort. Therefore here at TravelMag we have done the research to sift them out and present them to you in this list.
SPORT OF KINGS MOTEL
From $98/ night
In a land of geothermal activity it makes sense that Sport of Kings should have a thermally heated outdoor pool. But even the rooms are thermally heated too. There is a free shuttle service from a to the motel as well as free parking on site.

With a variety of rooms from studios to suites, there is a great range of choice for guests at this resort. All rooms have air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs and a patio. The hotel also has a BBQ area and a lounge/bar with an open fire for those cooler evenings.
