Yet this is also a city steeped in its past, featuring 15th-century buildings and sculptures, and a number of landmarks relating to the renowned German writer, Johann Wolfgang Goethe. You can even narrow your search to find properties that can be rented without a deposit. When we looked for Frankfurt apartments, we found 223 available, with rates starting at €750 per month for a 1-bed property.

Spotahome

Featuring almost 300 furnished apartments on their books across Frankfurt, Spotahome are a well-established name in the weekly rentals and monthly rentals sector, and are especially popular for their choice of flat shares and student homes. Based on our searches, monthly rates start at €570 for a flat-share with three other renters in the city centre, close to the main train station. It’s worth noting that rates on Spotahome can drop by as much as 7% for rental periods of 6 months or more. However, the company do add on admin fees to the advertised price, so it’s advised to check for these before booking.
