Citizenm Boston Back Bay Hotel

CitizenM celebrated the opening of its second Boston-based property in late 2024 – and its largest hotel to date – in Boston’s historic Back Bay neighborhood. Part of a mixed-use development, the hotel spans 15 stories and features 399 signature guest rooms, each containing a widescreen TV and a private bathroom with a jungle-like power shower. On-site amenities include a cozy communal living room, a canteen serving 24/7 snacks and drinks and a gymnasium with panoramic views over Newbury Street. Charlesgate Suites

Originally built in 1895 as an upscale single-family townhouse, the stately brick rowhouse that in July 2023 became Charlesgate Suites epitomises the classical revival style that defined an area of Boston often referred to as the “Paris of New England.” Marking a turning point for this historic gem, new life was breathed into the property through meticulously crafted cosmetic updates and urban furnishings.
