Passes are valid for up to 60 days, making them a popular choice with those coming to the city for several days, and they promise to save you as much as 50% compared with booking tickets for the equivalent attractions individually. Passes can be stored on your smartphone so you don’t need to worry about losing physical versions and they also act as digital guides offering useful information about Amsterdam and the attractions that are included. Pricing starts at around $70.
Explore Pass
A dedicated app lets you store your Explore pass and also book up to 35 city attractions and tours digitally with ease. Valid for 365 days, you’ll benefit from reduced admission prices which amounts to a significant saving for anyone planning to visit multiple attractions during their stay in the city. The app lets you create an itinerary so you can keep track of your plans. Travellers can choose from passes with 50, 75, or 100 Explorer Points, which are then redeemed for admission to the attractions of your choice. The pass also includes a 24-hour hop-on, hop-off Amsterdam bus ticket which allows you to board and disembark buses at designated stops around the city. Passes cost around $55 per person.
