Where does the beer tasting take place and what is the bar like inside?

The tasting takes place in the on-site bar at St Christopher’s Inn The Bauhaus, a modern hostel that’s spread across 4 step-gabled house on a cobbled street in the heart of Bruges, just minutes from Market Square.

The traditional Belgian bar bustles with activity at all hours, attracting everyone from back-packers to beer enthusiasts keen to sample some of the venue’s 50-plus craft beers, welcoming atmosphere and quintessential Flemish hospitality.

What beers can I expect to taste?

During the tasting you will get to sample six of Belgium’s best brews, spanning a variety of taste, flavour and strength profiles. Among the types of beers you can expect to try are the award-winning Gouden Carolus Tripel, renowned for its complex flavours; the Barbar, a full-bodied honey bitter-sweet Blond that’s brewed to a secret recipe; and the Rodenbach Alexander, a sour ale with a unique balanced palette, fruit keys and complex aftertaste.

When do tours run and how long do they last?

Tours run every day of  the week, except Thursdays, with a start time of either 5.30pm or 8pm. Running time is around 1.5 to 2 hours.
