At this branch, on 340 State Rd in the north of the town, they have a wonderful selection of luxury vehicles, saloons and run-arounds, vans, SUVs and for the eco-conscious, electric vehicles. On average, rental cars cost between $60-80 per day for standard family cars with prices going up to $250 per day for a luxurious car. In comparison, Budget’s prices are slightly lower, ranging from $75 to $140 in the same categories. Statistically, the Volkswagen Tiguan is Avis’s most popular car. When comparing with other agencies, some competitors were charging almost double the daily rates that Budget charges for vehicles that are comparable in size. Going with an option like the Volkswagen Jetta or the Toyota Camry from Budget’s fleet is the best bet for someone looking to get around as cheaply as possible. Reviewers give above average scores for value for money, cleanliness and reliability and friendliness of staff. The fact that cars can be scooped up for so little certainly compensates for the waiting times that are traditionally longer at an airport, especially at peak arrival times.
