A car rental is the most comfortable and efficient way to explore the city of Toulouse and the roaming countryside leading out from its city walls. Luckily, all the major car rental agencies can be found at TLS, including Hertz, Europcar, Enterprise and Avis. These are located in Hall C of the Arrivals Terminal while Sixt is in Hall B. Walking between the two halls takes a few minutes.

From our research work, their cars consistently come out as the most affordable at TLS and on the whole, Alamo receives positive reviews from past customers. Users commented on the helpfulness of the staff, the cleanliness of the cars and most importantly, the value for money. On our chosen dates, they were renting out an Open Insignia and Toyota Aygo at approx €100 per day with Peugeot 208 and Peugeot 308 about €20 more. Alamo’s offices are open from 8am to 10pm , daily.
Best for Luxury – Sixt
For those looking to tour this delightful region in a spot of luxury, Sixt is your best option. Sixt’s fleet includes many luxury rental cars like BMW X5 Hybrid and BMW X4 4×4 for off-road adventures and BMW 530/540 for cruising the French motorways in style. Once again, Alamo is another good option at Toulouse’s airport with a Mercedes Benz C-Class on its books at just over €200 per day on its books. However for a broader selection and overall expertise in this sector of the market, we’d still vote for Sixt.
Best for Minivans – Alamo
Whether you’re planning on heading into the country lanes or sticking to the autopistes, Alamo’s fleet has plenty of options for you and your family to choose from.
