As well as exporting bottles across the world, many of its wineries and vineyards also open their doors to the public who are invited to explore the faciliies, learn about the often generations-old traditions and try some of the home produce for themselves. Falset: Guided Wine Tour to the Priorat by a Local
The stunning landscape of the Priorat region is one of the jewels in the Catalunyan crown. This full-day guided tour from the village of Falset offers visitors the chance to discover the area and its ancient wine traditions that date back to the 12th century. After pick-up by car/minivan either at your Falset hotel or local train station, you’ll venture out into the region to discover its finest landmarks and places of interest. The immersive experience also includes a total of four delectable wine tastings – one to be taken in the vineyard and the other three once back at the cellar in either the scenic garden or indoors, depending on the weather.
