Built to combine a classic ballpark feel with modern amenities and southern hospitality, Truist Park welcomes baseball fans and tourists to the Atlanta metro area.
The Atlanta Braves play in Major League Baseball’s National League East division and joined the division in 1994. The Braves regularly host other division rivals like the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies. The Braves last won the World Series championship in 1995.
One of Major League Baseball’s newest stadiums, Truist Park is located 10 miles outside of downtown Atlanta in heavily populated Cobb County. Planners incorporated a $400 million entertainment district surrounding the park, which became known as The Battery Atlanta. This mixed-use development houses shops, eateries, and living and workspaces around the ballpark. The Battery is home to shops like DressUp, Mizuno, and Sugarboo & Co.; offers dining from old favorites to new, one-of-a-kind concept restaurants; and hosts special events like the Atlanta Wine Walk, concerts at Coca-Cola Roxy, and the VIVA Tequila Festival. The stadium seats 41,000 fans and offers park tours year-round; advance tickets are required and can be purchased through the Braves’ website. There’s no bad seat at Truist Park, which boasts the highest percentage of seats closer to the field than any other MLB park.
Single Game Tickets
The MLB is powered by Ticketmaster. Links for ticket buying from each team’s websites leads to the ticketing site. Browsing for available tickets is easy either by a stadium map, which shows available tickets as highlighted dots, or by selecting a desired price range. Fans can search for single or multiple tickets to every game. After finding the perfect seat confirm the selection and the timed checkout process will begin. Select your country of origin and verify mobile ticketing—tickets go to your phone or an app. Some stadiums allow print-at-home or will-call options. Sign in or sign up for a Ticketmaster account by creating a username and password and entering a valid email. Register a cell phone number. Enter payment and confirm any financial institution security measures. Finalize the purchase and let the planning begin. Tickets can be accessed immediately online and through the app.
How much are Braves tickets? Cost depends on how you want to view the game. The most affordable tickets at Truist Park are located in the Vista Corners on the 300 level and start at $11 each. For many games, the prized seats behind home plate are unavailable. The most expensive regular seats are in the Dugout Level behind first and third base and can fetch over $90 each. Fees charged by Ticketmaster include a scaling service fee per ticket and a one-time $2.10 order processing fee. Protection from foul balls and other errant objects can be found in sections 1-9, 10-42, 107-143, and Champions Suites (Suites A,B,1-10) where netting or screening is installed.
To use digital tickets visit the Ticketmaster website or mobile app. From the account pull down menu select My Tickets. Click on the event for further details. Once the event is selected ticketholders can view the ticket barcode. Ticketmaster recommends using the app. When viewed in the app, tickets are instantly saved to the phone. This is a smart way to avoid delays if network connections are busy at the stadium.
Special and Group Tickets
Rates and options for special and group tickets are found on the official Atlanta Braves website. Throughout the year, the organization hosts college students, teachers, and other groups for special games with discount admission. The Fielder’s Choice Ticket Plan offers flexibility to select any game and any number of tickets per game, gives a one-time bonus credit, and provides a concession discount at the A-List Member prices for an annual fee. In order to go big (at the extremely fair price of $150-$300 per adult; $100-$250 per child) fans can choose the VIP Experience, which includes a private pregame tour of Truist Park, the chance to watch batting practice, a free VIP gift, and more.
Where to Park
There are 14 organization-run parking lots and 9 other lots around the stadium area. Lots S65 and S68 are serviced by a Braves shuttle. The organization recommends purchasing parking prior to arriving at Truist Park and some Braves-controlled parking lots open at different times, so check the team’s website for up-to-date information. Most lots open 4 hours before first pitch. Ticketmaster provides the option of adding a parking pass to a ticket purchase and cost ranges from $10 to $21. One lot, N29, is approved for tailgating.
