The Scottish capital of Edinburgh is home to a wide choice of English language schools where international students can pick from various courses to suit their needs.

Giving students both linguistic and cultural knowledge by immersing them in Scottish culture, the school’s programmed events include trips, games afternoons, book, film and conversation clubs, and more. Outside of scheduled lessons, Simply English offers free 30-minute workshops every week for students enrolled in over five hours of classes. Mackenzie School of English
Established in 2008, this school is accredited by the British Council. Located in a former church, it is architecturally stunning from the outside, balanced with modern facilities and a contemporary feel on the inside. The school offers English language courses to both adults and young learners, with lessons delivered by fully-qualified teachers. Classes take place in the morning and afternoon, allowing students to select times that suit them best. Year-round programmes are available, as well as summer courses.
