If you want to stay in London in style you have to book a penthouse. These ultimate hotel rooms are often larger than your average London home and feature everything from Ibiza-spec swimming pools to artworks by global stars. They are, as you might expect, not what you will find on hotel booking online superstores, rather only advertised through the hotel’s own websites. And as the saying goes, if you have to ask how much, they are probably too expensive.
The Penthouse at Claridge’s
Claridge’s is one of the best-known names in London hotels, with the perfect blend of beautiful design and old world sophistication. The penthouse suite is quite simply jaw-dropping. Taking the entire rooftop of the Mayfair hotel, you would be forgiven for thinking you have walked out of the lift into a millionaire mansion on a Baleric island.
