Some go for the Seattle Mariners baseball and others go for the sunset views over the Puget Sound. Whatever the reason, T-Mobile Park is a great destination for travelers visiting the Pacific northwest.

The Seattle Mariners play in Major League Baseball’s American League West division and joined the league as an expansion team in 1977. The team has the record-setting distinction of winning 116 games in a single season (2001). The Mariners regularly host other league rivals like the Oakland A’s and New York Yankees.
Drawing their name from the seafaring traditions of Seattle, the Mariners play against the backdrop of the Puget Sound’s Elliott Bay, which the city’s waterfront encompasses completely. T-Mobile Park is in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood and is surrounded by a growing art scene and plenty of alehouses and breweries. T-Mobile Park can host 47,929 fans with views of the game from View Level seats up high to the Patio on the Pen. In 2019, the Mariners organization invested $600 million in maintenance, operations, and upgrades, which will span over 25 years.
Single Game Tickets
The entire MLB is powered by Ticketmaster. Connections for purchasing tickets from each team’s websites leads to the online ticket broker. Browsing for available tickets is easy with an interactive stadium map, which shows available tickets as highlighted dots, or by selecting a desired price range. Fans can search for single or multiple tickets to every game. After finding the perfect seat and confirming the selection the timed checkout process will begin. Select a country of purchase. Verify the preferred mobile ticketing option—tickets go to phones via email or app. Some stadiums allow print-at-home or will-call options. Sign in or sign up for a Ticketmaster account by creating a username and password and entering a valid email. Register a cell phone number. Enter payment and confirm with the financial institution prompts. Finalize and let the fun begin. Tickets can be accessed immediately online and through the app.
How much are Mariners tickets? Cost depends on how you want to view the game. The most affordable tickets at T-Mobile Park are in left and center field and are called View Level seats; they start at $10 each. The most expensive are Diamond Club seats located in the first few rows behind home plate and can fetch $500 each. Fees charged by Ticketmaster include a scaling service fee per ticket and a one-time $3.85 order processing fee. The park also has many suites available and an All-Star Club where food, soft drinks, and parking are included in the $250 ticket price.
Digital tickets can be easily used by visiting the Ticketmaster website or using the mobile app. From the account pull down menu select My Tickets. Click on the event for further details. Once the event is selected ticketholders can view the ticket barcode. Ticketmaster recommends using the app. When viewed in the app, tickets are instantly saved to the phone. This is the best way to avoid delays if network connections are busy at the stadium.
Special and Group Tickets
Info and options for special and group tickets are found on the official Seattle Mariners website. Groups of 20 or more can contact the stadium by email and choose from more than 80 home game dates, which include some fantastic promotions. A variety of themed games run throughout the season and the Community Nights honor the city’s heritage groups, student and alumni associations, local youth teams, and more. Academics going to a Mariners game can enjoy College Night with specially priced tickets and happy hour specials before the game. Active military members receive 10 percent off select seats and concessions. For the travelling family a single-game suite would make a great option and includes tickets for 14, VIP parking, and a catering credit for only $110 per person.
Where to Park
The simplest way to assure good parking for a Mariners game is to attach a pass onto a Ticketmaster purchase. The only option via Ticketmaster is for the Mariners Parking Garage at $25, the standard rate. Seattle provides public parking lots and garages for visitors; rates at these facilities differ depending on day (weekdays and weekends), length of stay, and proximity to special events. CenturyLink Event Center Garage at S Royal Brougham Way can cost between $10 and $50, and Union Station Garage (South) located at 820 4th Ave South can cost between $8-$30. Street parking is free in the evenings after 8:00 p.m., but finding a spot near the stadium can be a challenge.
