The famous Dutch capital is a major hub for international students as well as free spirits keen to tap into the city’s creative spirit by spending extended periods here for both work and play. To cater for such visitors, Amsterdam offers a huge number of furnished short stay apartment rentals across the city. We’ve picked out three of the best online resources for finding the right one for you.

Booking

Booking.com are our top choice for sourcing furnished rentals in Amsterdam for periods of anything from a few days to weekly rentals of up to a fortnight. The online accommodation giants have a globally renowned reputation and are known first and foremost as a hotel booking website, though they also have a substantial number of listed apartments. When we conducted searches for daily or weekly rentals in Amsterdam, around 130 apartments were available, starting at just $152 per night for a one-bedroom property. They also offer a Best Price Guarantee and there’s a comprehensive customer reviews section under each property so you can check out what previous guests have to say.

Homelike

A popular platform for people looking for monthly furnished rentals, Homelike’s flexible check-in and check-out dates let guests change their plans up to the very last moment. While booking via other rental platforms can often be a complex process, Homelike keeps it nice and simple, showing photography and essential descriptions of the apartments, with icons used to display the property’s amenities. On our chosen dates, we found 173 apartments available in Amsterdam, with prices starting at €1,521 per month (around £50 per night) for a furnished twin studio in the district of Teleport and rising to €14,080 (around €472 per night) for a large two-bedroom apartment in the city centre.

Spotahome

With over 20 Amsterdam properties on its books, Spotahome has a varied selection of flats and rooms for rent spread all the way across centeal Amsterdam and beyond. Monthly rentals range from as little as €900 for a single room in a shared apartment to €7,000 for a two-bedroom flat in the city centre. It’s worth mentioning that these prices can drop by as much as 7% if the apartment is rented out for a period of 6 months ore longer. Like most short-term rental companies, Spotahome adds administration fees to the advertised price, so you should make sure you fully understand the extent of those costs before confirming a rental.
