It would seem that Austin’s 6th Street is the quintessence of cool, for Vice have dedicated this entire video to the spine’s cultural significance on American music and film. Austin, Texas is, of course, revered for the South by Southwest Festival (SXSW), which sees a series of festivals and conferences run concurrently for roughly ten days in March each year. Film, interactive media and music all have their own programs of events. This video from Vice however checks out what is going on along 6th street 365 days a year. There are also some great food recommendations, a look at the LGBTQ scene and look at some of the authentic and diverse communities in the region.
